Stop That Barking, Nina by Anita Pouroulis (Digital Leaf)

We've been taking a look at some of Digital Leaf's upcoming titles and due out in October is a doggy tale indeed! "Stop That Barking, Nina!" introduces us to canine duo Nina and George, and their owner Jules.

Nina is a lovely dog and always on her best behaviour whereas George likes to dig up the garden and cause a ruckus (typical boy dog!)

One day Jules returns home from school expecting the usual unfavourable reports of how George has been up to mischief. But this time Mum is upset at Nina, mainly because Nina just won't stop barking!

There's obviously something wrong as she's usually so quiet and well behaved - and it takes a canny Jules to figure out just what's upsetting her dog.

We're not going to give away the twist, that's for you to discover in this fabulous book yourself. With great photo-illustrations throughout and a bold, bright and fresh look this is the first outing for Jules, George and Nina - may there be many many more!
